Having a successful business that provides me six months off a year to do whatever I please with my delicious time, wasn't always the norm.
Some days, you can find me face-timing with friends and family scattered all over the globe, stuffing my face with kimchi, or working form my computer in our apartment in the megacity of Seoul.
Other times, I am busy checking people in at The Fish Sheds, forest bathing, or hiking with our 14 year old fur-baby and my hubster, in a super small town of 950 people in Gros Morne National Park. But this wasn't always the norm.
I know what it's like to agonize over your life direction, wonder if you should go back to school, or think of a big move. I know what it's like to be unsure of your next steps. On top of that, you feel helpless watching each day go by hoping for some clarity. I was so there.
And though I spent months feeling anxious, sifting out important nuggets through so much useless information, panicking about my savings dwindling down, and wishing for someone to just tell me what to do, I was commited to figuring it out.
After Quitting, I had no idea what I was going To do.
By this I meant, am I more excited about the prospects of moving to a new country than actually teaching there? So a bachelor's degree, a teaching certification, and a master's degree later, I quit.
